I stumbled upon an article on LifeHacker, that spoke about how being deprived of sleep will affect your working mentality. The method they provided was call, “Caffeine Nap”, where you drink a cup of coffee and nap for 15 minutes. The 15 minutes gives you time to rest and allows the caffeine to travel through your gastro-intestinal tract. This will provide you with a refreshing reboot. But don’t go over the 15-20 minutes limit or else you’ll wake up in a sleepy state. I’ve never tried this before, but if you’ve tried this before please leave a comment on how it worked out for you.
